It pays to be a Taylor Swift fan.
The music super-star recently sent a super fan a large check to help pay off her student loans. A woman named Rebekah Bortnicker posted on social media about the burden of having to pay back her student loans.
The recently unemployed grad tweeted: “I have to start paying my student loans back in March and I still don’t have a job. I’m freaking out. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Swift, who frequently reaches out directly to fans with support, had her personal bodyguard hand deliver Bortnicker a “Swift Ex” package to her home.
ABC News reports, that the package came in a FedEx box that swift had altered to say SwiftEx that contained a little zip bag with a hand-written note that said: “Now you’re $1989 closer to paying off those student loans.” Swift’s most recent album just happens to be named “1989.”
