About BCS

Budget & Credit Solutions (BCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit member agency of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC). We are fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation, and we have been helping consumers manage their debts since 1984.

BCS is licensed by the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner as a Debt Management Service Provider. Texas regulation requires that Debt Management Service Providers meet certain criteria, including maintenance of a bond to ensure payment of your creditors, and other standards for counseling and financial integrity.

Our mission is to provide professional and affordable personal finance education, counseling, and debt management.

Our certified consumer credit and housing counselors can help you with financial issues now! The counseling session is free, and is designed to educate you on ways you can improve your financial situation. The receipt of financial counseling and education services does not guarantee participation in Debt Management Program services.
