You are entitled each year to one free copy of each your credit reports (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion). Go to Annual Credit Report to pull your copies. However, if you prefer to have your credit report interpreted by our Certified Consumer Credit Counselor, we can provide an hour session and a current credit report.

Our counselors are certified to read credit reports in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) by the Consumer Data Industry Association.

In this session, our counselors can help you:

Read and understand your credit report.
Pinpoint the negative accounts and provide you with suggestions on how to improve your credit.
Assist you in disputing inaccurate information that is being reported, such as an incorrect name or social security number for account that is not yours.

Counselors can also answer miscellaneous questions you may have, such as:

How long will accounts stay on my credit report?

When did my account become delinquent?

How do I track down those accounts that have been charged off, written off, and/or gone to collections?

How do I remove accounts that should have fallen off the report already?

How long does it take creditors to update my credit report once I have paid off my account?
